Thoughts about Love

Image
Mascara stained cheeks Tear stained pillow Trembling hands Hopeless sighs Feeling of loss Pain of rejection Hurt pride Broken heart Disillusioned Confused Ambivalent Unyielding Hope of love Destroyed by fear They won't stay Everybody leaves Pull them close To love Push them away To prevent hurt Shaky faith Fragile hope Cautious heart Distancing them Better to be alone Than to hurt Is it really better? This forced loneliness Elastic heart better Even if it's broken So long as it's want Because I don't need Share my love Express my passion But love is surrender That is so hard Slowly but surely Faith will grow Hope will blossom Optimism is important They won't love passionately Won't care as much Can't give too much Get little in return Need to be restrained I can't be emotionally bankrupt Part of me will always be Hidden, mysterious, inaccessible Is it all worth it?
